Sharon Duggan - Jazz and Folk singing workshops

What happens on this workshop?
This popular workshop is open to anyone who wants to learn how to sing jazz, or how to improve their jazz singing.

You will:

· be introduced to the subject with a brief history of jazz;

· listen to some examples of various singers of the genre;

· learn vocal techniques used in jazz singing;

· have help with singing jazz . You have the option to try out a song
yourself, but this is not obligatory - and even if you decide not to take
part in this section of the workshop, you will learn a lot from watching
Sharon help other students;

.introduction to the voice and how it’s produced;

·vocal exercises;

·demonstrations of singing and performing jazz.

All aged 14 years and upwards (no upper age limit)
